Bf 109 E-7 Messerschmitt Trop By:Gary Wickham

I was very impressed with how much detail Eduard has put into this 1:48 kit. I found the parts to fit perfectly, the decals made by Eduard to be extremely fine and many of the included details (such as the complete engine) all represent excellent value for money. I wanted to build an early 109E “Emil” finished in the distinctive RLM 79 Sand paint scheme. Fortunately Eduard had released just the markings I wanted in a weekend edition of Boxing.

Gary Wickham lives and works in Sydney, Australia and usually deals with contemporary subjects in 1/48. For several years he has maintained his own website (http://www.scalespot.com/), where he presents his builds, while he also writes articles for other modeling websites. Our attention was drawn to one of his builds, on the subject of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-7 Trop, a World War II fighter, in 1/48 scale, which we present to you here.
