The conversion of TAMIYA’s F 16C to the F-16D version was not a simple matter. I bought the F-16D 1/48 KINETIC kit and kept the top fairing piece as it matched the TAMIYA fuselage. and the lengthening of the spindle that version D has from the cockpit to the vertical stand. All the rest of the kit is TAMIYA. I didn’t want the easy solution of the KINETIC because the quality of the plastic and the engraving is clearly inferior. I bought the following.
