RF-4E Phantom II

The Phantom RF-4E Kit in 1/48 is by Hasegawa and in combination with the very good in quantity and quality improvement kits on the market, we built an impressive, Greek RF-4E Phantom of the 348th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, in Larissa.
For the model we used the Aires set for the cockpit in addition to the instrument panels used in the Kit, Verlinden Mk.7 seats, electronic bay, photo bay, Aires engine nozzle set and finally the Kendall air duct covers.
For painting our model, since the colors are not available ready-made on the market, we used Olive Drab and Medium Green in a 4:1 ratio instead of FS 34079 (light green), Dark Green and Deck Green in 6:1 for RAL 6003 (dark green), and SCWARZGRUN RML 70 and tire black in 3:1 for RAL 7021 (black). All colors are from Humbrol except SCWARZGRUN RML70 which is from Model Master.
The brands used were the very good quality ones, from the RF-4E series for the M.A.A., from Icarus Decals.
