Aegean Ghost Camouflage
Inspired by the camouflage of the USN F-16N Aggressors, Ghost Gray or “Aegean Ghost” developed in the late 1980s, is the variant worn by all Greek F-16 Vipers, F-4E AUP Phantom IIs
and isolated older F-5s and an F-1 Mirage. The three-tone blue and gray color scheme has proven to be particularly effective in the Aegean environment (recently the Israelis also appreciated it), and is considered by aviation enthusiasts worldwide to be the most aesthetically impressive F-16 variant, along with that of the Israeli Falcons. The Fourth Generation Block 50 & Block 52+ F-16s of HAF Today Viper They are coated with the Have Glass I and II coating This makes them look dirty, due to the surface created by the RAM (Radar Absorbing Material) coating. This gray paint is responsible for the metallic hue and the “dirty” look that the F-16 gradually acquires, but its appearance does not reflect its functionality.
